Brighton Sound Social returns this September with the return of the BMC Warmup events aiming to get you in front of the Brighton Music Conference team arming you with the knowledge of what is going on and giving you the chance to ask burning questions you might have.

The date (which was moved from April to September) has been postponed to the Autumn in line with the government guidelines in relation to quarantine and social distancing. It means the event which normally is a Spring event now takes place from 23rd through to the 26th September.

The warmup to the main BMC event takes place in the basement of Al Duamo restaurant on North Street on Thursday 3rd September from 7:00pm with the BSS team and BMC team. We’ll be focusing on everything from what you can expect at this year’s event, the artists and exhibitors you will see, what you will get from the three-day event and the all important question about how to navigate round your favourite talks and features so you don’t miss out. There will also be a discount for any BSS members who attend this event for last minute tickets.

Brighton Sound Social also has a range of other topics which are talked about and some useful support via the website at There are plans to bring back the ‘Creative Block’ sessions with Donna Churchman which focus on mental health for musicians. We are also planning some music production workshops and other digital online content.
