Partnership with Brighton & Hove City Council
After a year of hosting events in the city, we are pleased to announce earlier in the summer that we will now be working in partnership with Brighton & Hove City Council to bring you more in-depth and relevant topics with our events for the Autumn 2019 and into 2020.
What this means is that we will have representatives from the council who look after Environment and Culture at our events to help us discuss local topics and challenges which are faced by a range of groups within the city covering music and the creative media industries.
This has been a labour of love over the last 12 months with emails, phone calls and meetings exchanged in a bid to gain their support when discussing legitimate topics which impact upon our members who attend our events every month.
As well as talking about a lot of the ways people can grow within the industries, it’s important to acknowledge the challenges which are also faced with a lot of things which you are likely to face at some point with licensing or other areas which are controlled by local goverment.
We start back in September with our topic events and we urge anyone who attends the events or knows poeple who our content would affect to sign up for free as a member via the site and to come along to our next level of talks and discussions in to the Autumn of 2019.
For more information on how you can sign up for free as a member and get your free level card which also gives you discounts across the city from local venues and businesses, visit the Events Page for more information and links to the registration form.
